My baby is 3 months old!

I have learned that it is ok not to get to do everything I always used to before I had a baby ;)

Some days do not have enough hours in them for all the things I need to and want to do. Other days I get to do it all and have some free time. But I am getting the hang of it and even though I can't blog as much as I want to...it's ok, because I am enjoying my little beauty so immensely! I don't want to miss out :)

She is growing up so fast now and we can see changes in her behaviour daily...I am so glad that I can be a stay-at-home mommy!




She does not like being alone in a room. So I put her in her pram when I make dinner and she then carries on cooing and talking in her own way :) so sweet! Or I put her on the bed when I am busy in the room and her eyes follow me and she has started to move her head when I walk past her or go behind her. It is so nice to see her going through all of these new stages and how fast she's learning. She can sit when I hold her up and her neck is almost strong enough to keep it up for long periods of time.

We went to visit her new little cousin Luzelle! My sister's first born. I just love this photo! :)

    So wonderful that you are enjoying it so well! It's true you can't always get things done like you might have set out but that's ok:)) spending time w that little darling is super important! Love the pictures & congrats on being an auntie!!

Photo update

Time seems to be something that passes by so much faster these days. I am sorry for being so quite with my blogs.  Chanette is almost 21 months and she is discovering so many new things. Talking in her own sweet way and saying so many words now. It is so cute to hear her having a conversation when she does not know i can hear her and she talks with her dolls or say all of the names she knows like "oupa, ouma, daddy, mamma....and then she says my parent's dog's name "shadow" and she names her aunties and uncles....not all of their names exactly right but she tries ;) She understands so well now and it is amazing how she looks at us and "copies" us. Just makes me realize again how big a role model we are and should be to our children. Here she is with Shadow :) The two of us on Mother's Day :) So very blessed to have my girly to share it with! xxx She simply LOVES "Winnie the Pooh's Heffalump Movie...

My favorite shots of her during autumn. This was taken about 3 weeks ago after church :) How I love these two!!! <3<3<3 They are all i have dreamed of and could ever ask for!  Thank you Lord :) i am so blessed! Looking at the leaves and birds :) She fills my heart with so much love <3 The joys of being a child :) So carefree and simply gorgeous!

19 weeks...update! :)

Morning from cold but yet sunny South Africa! This week is my 19 weeks mark...time sure is going faster now. And i am loving being pregnant! :) For the first time i can actually enjoy it all! I went for my last scan about 2 weeks ago and we found out it's a GIRL!!! So exciting :D Her name will be Chanette...i read a series of books before we got married and this was the author's name and i just loved it immediately! So we got our first pink outfit from my parents and now the shopping can begin! hehe! I felt Chanette move on Saturday...it was such an amazing feeling...wow! I have felt some movements before but always thought maybe it's just my stomach or i'm hungry...never strong enough to think it's actually baby moving. But this weekend it was so real! :) I am loving the idea of a little person growing inside of me and knowing that i will have the privalege to be her momma!!! :) Other than that it's going well here in SA...it's autumn now so g...
