The van Wyk Blogging Corner

My sister Tanya's oldest and youngest spent the day at our house while their brother had to go to hospital to have his tonsils removed. We baked cupcakes in the morning and made "no-bake cookies" later in the afternoon. It was a long and busy day, but at least we had lots of yummy things to eat ;):)

I was busy doing dishes last night and quickly cleaning up after dinner while Quintus was at the brothers prayer meeting. Chanette was playing in the kitchen. As i turned around at one point....this was what i saw :) hahaha! She loves Ultra Mel custard and there she is reaching for yoghurt too!!! :):):) Just had to share ;)

Latest photos..... Going out to Spur for dinner! :) Enjoying her FAVORITE :):):) hahaha! Visiting her Ouma Hannetjie and having a banana as a snack. She has only started eating more these past few days. Before, she used to only have yoghurt (if i'm lucky) and formula milk. But i just left her to eat when she's hungry...and it looks like she is more interested now ;) I took these photos this morning! So precious :) She understands about how it works to smile when i  ask her to look at me and say "cheese" :) hehehe!!! All grown up...

We have moved to a new house after our holiday in February. We felt that a change was necessary after 2 and a half years in our previous house. It is much more private here and we have our own private garden overlooking a golf course. It is so quite here and we are very happy :) Moving our stuff from the old house.... We were very happy there too and have great memories to cherish always! :) Our new home  The living room The kitchen Front garden Just an idea of our new place :) We hope to have many more special memories and continue with our life's journey as a family!

I took a few very special photos of Chanette on the day she turned 18 months (05-03-2015) It seems like yesterday that i held her for the first time. I cherish each and every day i get to spend with her and the special milestones that she reaches :)  Liefste Chanette Gelukkige 18 maande!!! We went on a much needed holiday in the Free State for a week in February. My brother and sister-in-law joined us for 3 days :) it was so relaxing and we had a great time! Taken in front of our house the morning we left :) Chanette : 17 months old Our destiunation for the weekend! :) Sadiba Lodge, Clarens! Breathtaking and so peaceful! Enjoying strawberry milkshake at Mugg & Bean...YUM!!! :) Cuddles in our bed after waking up ;) Love my girly so much! What a blessing she is to us! My one and only love <3 "The best thing to hold onto.....is EACH OTHER!" Being silly and very active in front of the camera...hahaha!!! My everything!!! :) FAMILY MEANS No-One is forgotten and... NOBODY gets left behind <3 My in-laws joined us after the first 4 days. Here i am, holding my little niece Kayla! (she is my husband's sister's baby) She is 4 months old now. Such a cutie pie! :) ...
