I am finally catching up on my posts! So sorry for the delay with the info and photos. Most of you have already seen some of the photos on facebook through my sisters. But that's ok, still wanted to share it on my blog. I want Chanette to be able to look back on this blog and have it as memories that her mommy kept for her :)

 These two photos were taken last week! She is growing so fast now, already packing away her newborn clothing! :( She changes everyday and i am having such a wonderful time getting to know her !
I really feel so sorry for moms who have to work while their babies are with someone else, they miss out on so much...but not everyone's circumstances are the same. I am thankful to the Lord that i can be a stay-at-home mommy! :)

Photo update

Time seems to be something that passes by so much faster these days. I am sorry for being so quite with my blogs.  Chanette is almost 21 months and she is discovering so many new things. Talking in her own sweet way and saying so many words now. It is so cute to hear her having a conversation when she does not know i can hear her and she talks with her dolls or say all of the names she knows like "oupa, ouma, daddy, mamma....and then she says my parent's dog's name "shadow" and she names her aunties and uncles....not all of their names exactly right but she tries ;) She understands so well now and it is amazing how she looks at us and "copies" us. Just makes me realize again how big a role model we are and should be to our children. Here she is with Shadow :) The two of us on Mother's Day :) So very blessed to have my girly to share it with! xxx She simply LOVES "Winnie the Pooh's Heffalump Movie...

My favorite shots of her during autumn. This was taken about 3 weeks ago after church :) How I love these two!!! <3<3<3 They are all i have dreamed of and could ever ask for!  Thank you Lord :) i am so blessed! Looking at the leaves and birds :) She fills my heart with so much love <3 The joys of being a child :) So carefree and simply gorgeous!

19 weeks...update! :)

Morning from cold but yet sunny South Africa! This week is my 19 weeks mark...time sure is going faster now. And i am loving being pregnant! :) For the first time i can actually enjoy it all! I went for my last scan about 2 weeks ago and we found out it's a GIRL!!! So exciting :D Her name will be Chanette...i read a series of books before we got married and this was the author's name and i just loved it immediately! So we got our first pink outfit from my parents and now the shopping can begin! hehe! I felt Chanette move on Saturday...it was such an amazing feeling...wow! I have felt some movements before but always thought maybe it's just my stomach or i'm hungry...never strong enough to think it's actually baby moving. But this weekend it was so real! :) I am loving the idea of a little person growing inside of me and knowing that i will have the privalege to be her momma!!! :) Other than that it's going well here in SA...it's autumn now so g...
