The van Wyk Blogging Corner

Her first two outfits (we bought the left one the day i found out i was pregnant and my mom bought the pink one when we found out it's a girl!) Her name...will put it up somewhere in her room sometime. Also the chest of drawers i painted and put new handles on :) Gift from my in-laws :) Pram, carry-cot and car chair! Gift from my sister Tanya :) Clothes from my Uncle and Aunt in the UK! They are here in SA and gave it to me yesterday! Soooooo girly! :) 

22 weeks Wow, time seems to be flying like crazy now! I am 24 weeks today...this pic was taken at 22 weeks. I am loving every minute of it all...just battling a bit with backache and sore feet at night. But after a long hot bath i always seem to feel much better and of course a cup of hot chocolate made especially for me and little Chanette by my darling hubby to make us feel more relaxed! ;) It has come to a point now where her movements are so strong that i can lie down and see my tummy move...haha! So amazing! She and her daddy are enjoying each other's company with chats and him playing guitar at night...she moves around as if she knows, so sweet! I am so thankful for a wonderful man like him in my life, i could not have asked for a better husband! We are going on holiday for the first time since our honeymoon, leaving early Sunday morning and coming back next Friday. Can't wait to relax and just spend some quality time with him :) My next appointment is on t

Our sweet little princess at 21 weeks and 2 days! :) I went for a scan on Wednesday and it was wonderful. She was looking at us most of the time and we could see the features of her face. I am so looking forward to meeting her, holding and loving her! :) All is well and the gynae is very happy with her progress. I feel her movements everyday now and the only way i can describe it is the feeling of popcorn being popped in my stomach haha! I love it!!! :) I feel great and not carrying so big, but from what i hear i will start growing bigger from now... The more i feel her move inside of me and see how much she's grown every month i go for my scan, i just realize again and again how wonderful God is, to let a little human grow inside of a woman, amazing!!!
