16 weeks! :)

Wow, can't believe i am 16 weeks already! Time is flying by now it seems...but i'm not complaining! :)

I am at the stage where my clothes don't fit like they used to, lol! And where maternity clothes are still just a bit too big, but i love seeing my tummy grow and can't wait for the first movements! :D

I am also looking forward to the birth of a dear friend's baby, Amanda Bever! Can't wait to see pics and hear the good news! Before i know it i'll be announcing posts of "any day now"...

All is well with the morning sickness completely gone now. I still battle with headaches though, but i am on medication for that and it helps. Just have to face it...and in the end it's worth it, seeing as i will be holding a little bundle of life! :)

Will be going for another scan on the 10th of April and hopefully this time we will see if it's a he or she! Can't wait! Then i can start buying more clothing etc.....i am starting to enjoy the pregnancy now and hubby loves talking to little one everyday, so sweet! He is going to be a great daddy! He has helped me so much during this time!

It is a public holiday today...so he is home. I will be going for now. Will post again soon...hopefully with more exciting news of our little bundle of love!

    So glad to hear that your mornigsickness is except for the headache; and this shall pass too ;) You're growing fast as I could still fit in my skirt at 18,5 weeks. It's so nice when hubby talks to your little one, hopefully can he "play" with him/her in your belly.

    What a relief to know that the sickness has let up! Woohoo! :)) hopefully now you can start enjoying it and when you feel that lil munchkin move around there is nothing quite like it :) glad hubby has been such a help to you, friend. Time seems to be something that passes by so much faster these days. I am sorry for being so quite with my blogs.  Chanette is almost 21 months and she is discovering so many new things. Talking in her own sweet way and saying so many words now. It is so cute to hear her having a conversation when she does not know i can hear her and she talks with her dolls or say all of the names she knows like "oupa, ouma, daddy, mamma....and then she says my parent's dog's name "shadow" and she names her aunties and uncles....not all of their names exactly right but she tries ;) She understands so well now and it is amazing how she looks at us and "copies" us. Just makes me realize again how big a role model we are and should be to our children. Here she is with Shadow :) The two of us on Mother's Day :) So very blessed to have my girly to share it with! xxx She simply LOVES "Winnie the Pooh's Heffalump Movie...

Time is not standing still... :)

Kiara Lodge Where has the time gone! Can't believe it's been about 5 weeks since my last blog. And so much has happened since then. We had a wonderful time on holiday...it was so peaceful and simply breathtaking with the mountains around us. We just relaxed and loved every minute of it :)  25 weeks Little Chanette's cot arrived and i am so happy with it! We had to order it and waited a few weeks while they made it. My parents bought it as a gift :)  All is going well with us both! Went for a scan on Tuesday and she is growing pretty fast now. She almost reached an extra 1kg since last month. She now weighs 1819g :)  So cute and we got to see more of her little face this time, the nose, eyes and upper lip! Simply adorable haha! I am getting so excited now as time is getting closer for her arrival. I know it's still a few weeks to go, but i can't wait! So far her date of birth is the 5th of Sept.
